Ads start at a base price of $50 for 10 characters (any letter, number, space, or symbol). Additional characters are $5 each, up to a maximum of 30 characters (see below for additional info). Additional Terms: Ad Character Limitations: The characters in ad texts and hover texts are limited to letters (A-Z upper or lower case), numbers (0-9), spaces, periods, dashes, question marks, apostrophes ('), the plus symbol (+), and the equals symbol (=). The characters in URLs are limited to the same as the texts, but add colons (:), forward slashes (/), ampersands (&), semicolons(;), hash marks (#), and the @ symbol. Ad Duration: Your purchase of an ad word or phrase puts your ad on this site for two years. At the end of that term we will notify you at the e-mail address you provide of the opportunity to renew your ad. If you do not renew before the ad's expiration, your ad word/phrase will be made available to others. Ads (text and the sites they link to) must be "family friendly" (see below for definition). Ads will be reviewed before being allowed to go live on our site. What does "Family Friendly" mean?: "Family Friendly" means no language or sites you wouldn't want your kids to see. This includes, but is not limited to: profanity, sex, pornography, gambling, alcohol, prescription drugs, piracy, and extreme violence. Return To Top Important Information About Featured Ads: Featured ads are limited to a grand total of 64. Each time a page on our site (the home page or any one of our information pages) is displayed, 16 of the 64 are selected at random and placed in the featured ads column, giving you a 25% chance of your ad being seen in the featured column every time someone looks at a page. Featured ads also appear in the main ads list on the homepage at all times, so your ad is always seen in the main ads list and seen 25% or more of the time in the "featured ads" column. Featured text ads will be displayed in 10 point bold Arial in the "Featured Ads" column. Long ads with no spaces may have line breaks inserted so they do not stretch the width of the featured ad column. Return To Top |
